2. What data we process, why, and on what legal basis
Email and phone enquiries
When you write to kontakt@finasoft.pl or call us, we process the data you give us. This is typically your name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message. We use it to reply and to carry on the correspondence, and, if you wish, to prepare an offer or enter into a contract.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
"Quick message" form
The form on this website does not send data to any server and stores nothing. When you click the button, your own email app opens with the message prepared. We receive the data only if you send that message from your mailbox. The rules described above for email enquiries then apply.
Visitor statistics
We measure traffic with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies or any other data stored in your browser, and it does not build user profiles. It collects technical information about each page view (such as the page address, referring page, browser and device type, and country), and we see only aggregated figures. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and improving it (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Technical data when the page is served
This website is served by Cloudflare. Each time you visit, Cloudflare's servers process your IP address and technical browser data. This is needed to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks and abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Cookies
This website does not use cookies for analytics or marketing and does not track you across websites, which is why there is no cookie consent banner. In exceptional situations, for example during an attack on the website, Cloudflare may use a technical cookie strictly necessary to protect the website.
4. Who receives your data
Your data may be disclosed to service providers that process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting and visitor statistics;
- the email provider hosting the kontakt@finasoft.pl mailbox: [TO BE COMPLETED once the email provider is chosen];
- where necessary, an accounting or law firm, to the extent required for their services.
Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States. Data is transferred on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which Cloudflare participates, and standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep data
- We keep correspondence for as long as needed to carry it on, and then for no longer than 2 years after the last contact. The exceptions are where the law requires longer retention (for example tax law, if we enter into a contract) or where the data is needed to establish, pursue or defend legal claims.
- We view visitor statistics only in aggregate and never link them to individuals.
- Technical data processed by Cloudflare is kept for the period set out in Cloudflare's policies.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy;
- have your data rectified;
- have your data erased;
- restrict processing;
- data portability;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Article 21 GDPR).
To exercise these rights, email kontakt@finasoft.pl. You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl), or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
7. Voluntary provision and profiling
Providing data is voluntary, but we cannot reply to you without it. We do not make automated decisions and do not profile visitors.
8. Changes to this policy
If the way this website works changes, we will update this policy. The date of the current version is shown at the top of the page.
